2010 Krewe du Vieux First Annual Calamity Party Saturday August 29, 2009 Thanks to everyone who came to the party to toast our toasted float and donate to the fire fund. Seeds Theme Meeting - Wednesday Oct 7th 2009 Our first meeting will begin at 7 pm at Sara Fanelli's place, 2324 Dauphine Street, between Marigny & Mandeville Streets. (Sara is our Float Goddess/construction boss.) The "Mutha Krewe" will hopefully have picked the main theme by then and we can work on picking the Seed's theme. If not, we can come up with some suggestions for the main theme!! BYOE. Construction Work Sessions TBA The Den is currently closed for repairs and pressure washing so we don't know exactly when we can get back in. As soon as we can know when the Den will be reopened, we will schedule work sessions. We lost EVERYTHING in the fire so start saving your construction & art supplies. We need: saw horses, glue gun & glue sticks, caulk gun, paint brushes (artist's and regular), paint roller & roller pan, white glue, large roll of plastic (to drape over our stuff for rain protection), glitter, lumber… Brewe-Doo & FunRazer - Saturday Dec 3rd, 2009 Come on out & show your "Seeds' spirit! Support your krewe. The Brew Doo fundraiser will be SOMEWHERE, SOMETIME. It appears that the Den of Muses might not be presentable by December 3 (if you've been to any KdV events, you know it takes a LOT to not be presentable for one!!) So the time and location are not to be determined but the date will probably be Saturday, December 3. We'll post updates here and email everyone as soon as there is more information. Hey, I have faith in the Seeds of Decline -- if there's a party, we'll find it!! Pickup Night: Thursday, January 28, 2010 Time & Location to be announced Be sure to put this date on your calendars! You or a representative MUST come in to pick-up your wrist bands, info packet, cups, etc. Plan to have some king cake and stay for a visit!
